CRS score calculator

Enter your profile and language results for a detailed estimate of your Comprehensive Ranking System score.

Rules checked against IRCC on September 5, 2026. Job-offer CRS points: 0.

01 Your profile

Use your current age, or your age on the invitation date if you have been invited to apply.

02 Education

For foreign education, use the Canadian equivalency on an ECA issued by an approved organization within the last five years. For multiple credentials, each foreign credential being claimed needs an ECA.

03 Language results

Enter each ability score from one test sitting. Select your stronger official language first; skill transferability uses that language. You can change the language order and recalculate.

04 Work experience

Count completed years of paid skilled work in the last 10 years, in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3, full-time or the equivalent in part-time. Do not round up partial years or count overlapping hours twice.

You must have been physically in Canada, authorized to work, and working for a Canadian employer (including remote work). Generally exclude self-employment and work while studying full-time; ask for a review if a specific exemption applies.

Count qualifying skilled work outside Canada. Follow IRCC’s questionnaire and evidence requirements for the occupation being claimed.

It must be issued by a Canadian province, territory or federal body. A college diploma, employer training certificate or provincial nomination is not a certificate of qualification.

05 Additional factors

A nomination under a non–Express Entry stream does not award these CRS points.

The sibling must live in Canada, be at least 18, and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. A biological, adopted or step-sibling may qualify. A non-accompanying partner’s sibling does not count. Only 15 points total, regardless of the number of siblings.

Job offers receive zero CRS points since March 25, 2025. They can still matter for program eligibility.

CRS calculator questions

What does this CRS calculator include?

The calculator estimates all four CRS sections: core human capital, accompanying spouse or partner factors, skill transferability, and additional points. The total is capped at 1,200.

Does a job offer add CRS points?

No. IRCC removed job-offer CRS points on March 25, 2025. A job offer may still be relevant to program eligibility.

Do I use the spouse tables if my partner is not coming to Canada?

No. IRCC uses the without-spouse tables when your partner is not accompanying you or is already a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Which language test scores can I enter?

Use IELTS General Training, CELPIP-General, PTE Core, TEF Canada or TCF Canada. Enter all four ability scores from valid results. For TEF Canada, use the previous score equivalency column, not Score / 699.

Does my CRS score confirm I am eligible for Express Entry?

No. You must separately meet the requirements of an Express Entry program. Invitation thresholds and selection criteria vary by round; no CRS score guarantees permanent residence.
