What we collect
The Immergity app may collect and store: your name, email address, and phone number; information you enter into an immigration assessment or referral (such as relationship, employment, or eligibility details); and, if you enable notifications, an anonymous device notification token. The app does not require an account and does not collect your location.
How to request deletion
Step 1: Email us at info@immergityimmigration.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
Step 2: Include the name, email address, and/or phone number you provided in the app so we can locate your records.
Step 3: We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
What is deleted
If you have only used the Immergity app as a diagnostic tool (that is, you have not signed a retainer or engaged us for immigration representation), we are under no obligation to retain your data. Upon a verified request, we permanently delete all personal information associated with you from our systems.
A note for retained clients
If you have separately signed a retainer and engaged Immergity Immigration for professional representation, your file is governed by the record-keeping obligations of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, which require certain client records to be retained for up to ten (10) years. Those professional records are separate from any data collected through the app and are handled under our client engagement terms, not this app deletion process. A deletion request through this page removes your app diagnostic data; it does not override regulatory retention requirements that apply to a signed representation file.
What may be retained
We may retain limited information where required by law, for legitimate record-keeping under the regulatory obligations applicable to a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), or in anonymized form that can no longer identify you. Any retained regulatory records are kept only as long as required and are not used for any other purpose.
Third-party processing
Assessment content may be processed by our AI provider (Anthropic, via the Claude API) solely to generate your assessment. This data is not used to train AI models and is retained by the provider only briefly for security purposes before deletion. Deleting your data with us removes it from our systems.
