Is Immergity a licensed immigration consultant in Mississauga?

Yes. Immergity Immigration Inc. is led by Pranav Bhushan, an RCIC licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants under licence R705848. The licence belongs to the individual consultant. Use the CICC public register to check the consultant’s name, status, entitlement to practise and any restrictions before paying for advice.

Verification is particularly useful when an advertisement uses a trading name or a booking service answers the telephone. Ask who will actually advise you, whose name will appear on the representation documents and who will be responsible for your file. Match that person to the register, rather than relying on a logo or a licence number copied into an advertisement.

Consultants are verified through the CICC. Lawyers, Quebec notaries and other authorized professionals must be checked through the appropriate regulator and within their permitted scope. A person’s absence from the CICC register alone does not establish that a lawyer or notary is unauthorized. What does an RCIC do that an unlicensed agent can’t?

An RCIC provides paid immigration advice within a regulated professional framework, with competence, confidentiality, insurance and accountability obligations. A client can verify the consultant and use the regulator’s complaints process. An unlicensed agent cannot substitute for the required authorization simply by describing the work as form filling or charging through another business.

When Immergity represents you, Pranav assesses eligibility, examines immigration history, identifies evidence gaps, manages the agreed application work and communicates with IRCC within the appointment and service agreement. You remain involved in reviewing the facts and declarations. Professional representation does not remove an applicant’s responsibility to provide complete, truthful information.

Unlicensed advice can create serious problems, especially when a representative is concealed or an application contains false statements. It does not automatically establish misrepresentation in every case; the actual record and applicable legal requirements must be examined. A careful consultation explains the problem and available responses without promising that an explanation alone will reverse a refusal.

Direct responsibility matters when documents tell different stories. A previous application, an employment letter and a new intake form should describe the same material history. Pranav’s role is to identify the discrepancy, ask for an explanation and assess how it affects the proposed application before the record is submitted. Administrative convenience should not decide a substantive immigration answer.

What it costs

A 60-minute consultation costs CAD $250, in person or virtually. Immergity uses flat-fee pricing for agreed representation work, with professional fees quoted in writing before engagement. Government filing fees are separate. The written agreement explains what the professional fee covers and any other charges that apply.

Use the consultation to understand the decision you face: which routes may fit, which facts remain unresolved, what evidence is missing and which deadlines affect your next step. A useful assessment may identify a reason to postpone filing or choose a different approach. It should not promise a favourable decision simply because a fee has been paid.

Before the appointment, prepare your current immigration documents, relevant IRCC correspondence, previous applications, language results, education assessments and employment records where relevant. Add a short timeline and the questions you want answered. If a deadline is approaching, tell the office when you book; do not assume that booking an appointment extends a government deadline.

Areas we serve from Mississauga

Immergity serves Mississauga and the GTA from its Square One–area office, with virtual consultations across Canada and internationally. Clients can arrange in-person meetings from Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton, Etobicoke and Toronto. These are service areas; the physical office is in Mississauga.

Your location does not replace a program’s requirements. IRCC administers federal applications, while provincial nomination and other pathways can have their own residence, employment or settlement conditions. Living in the GTA does not automatically establish eligibility for an Ontario stream.
